Mom and Dad took me and Will out for sushi yesterday. Will had his first taste of white rice – a staple in the Koch household – and he loved it. As for me, I had rice, pot stickers and asparagus sushi. Yummy!

Will is doing great eating his "real" food. So far, he’s eaten apples, pears and bananas from jars. Mom made babyfood out of squash and he inhaled that as well. Speaking of apples, this is what I do to an apple:

Dad says it looks like an apple that paw paw ate.

Here’s a conversation I just had with dad:

Dad: Anna, let’s go out to dinner tonight. We’ll do something special.

Me: Good idea Dad. Let’s go to Chipotle and get chips and chocolate milk and bring it to the restaurant with the moose in front and the animals on the wall (Bugaboo Creek).

Dad: We can’t do that.

Me: Why not? You said we could do something special!

Mom’s out partying, there’s no food in the house and dad doesn’t feel like cooking. 
What does that mean?  BRINNER!!! (BReakfast & diNNER)  Scrambled eggs, blueberry & apple wheat pancakes and OJ.  We can’t wait for Mom to come home and clean up our mess!

But you’re on your own for dinner.
