Our Life in Pictures
On January 24 we had a pretty snowfall. Even enough for a snowman.
The next week, we had mountains of snow. It was loads of fun trading school days for sledding, baking and general mischief.
By mid February, the joke was on us. Snow upon snow upon snow had fallen, and none of it had melted. There were ice dams, mountainous snow banks, and two way streets were now one way. 7 days of missed school in a 2 1/2 week period. Single digit temps. Swim practices and meets cancelled. A dog confused and general hysteria in the home. Between January 24th and February 24th, storms Juno and Marcus and a few others brought 7.8 feet of snow, and nothing was melting!
It was around this time that we thanked our lucky stars we had planned a trip to Florida! Sunshiney photos to come.
Blizzard Nemo actually hit a few weeks ago but Mom and Dad just finally dug out from all of the snow to post some pictures. I missed 3 days from school so we had to find a lot of stuff to do. We measured the snow, went sledding with my cousins, snuggled with Owen, fought over the heat vent in the kitchen with Charlie, made valentines, baked some dog treats, went to Target and probably a million other things that we didn’t take pictures of.
With 2+ feet of snow forecasted and school already cancelled for tomorrow, I made a list of stuff to do this weekend. This is the first version. There are bound to be many, many more. Stay tuned…
We got about 6 inches of snow last night and we had so much fun playing in it, until it got a little too cold and a little too rough out there…
Did you say hot cocoa time?
We got real snow this time. Only a few inches, but enough to go outside and shovel the grass (yup) and make a mini snowman! Charlie tried to eat his arms but I protected him.
The only way mom could get me inside was hot cocoa. So she whipped some up and I dug in. Literally. (fishin’ for the marshmallows – the good stuff!)TAGS: snow
We got a teeny bit of snow yesterday so my buddy and I headed outside to play! There was not quite enough for a snowman so we had to do that inside with some mushed together playdoh colors!TAGS: snow
